Financial Controller <\/strong><\/p>\n

The St-L\u00e9onard d'Aston plant is currently looking for a Financial Controller <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Financial Controller <\/strong> works under the supervision of the Director of Finance. <\/strong> He is responsible for:<\/p>\n

Main tasks: <\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Participate in accounting compliance activities;<\/li>\n
  • Prepare monthly financial statements;<\/li>\n
  • Analyze and explain the variances with the budget;<\/li>\n
  • Develop and update a value added report;<\/li>\n
  • Support the company's consolidation, budgeting and forecasting processes;<\/li>\n
  • Ensure the management and control of stocks;<\/li>\n
  • Analyze the cost price and implement improvement solutions;<\/li>\n
  • To be the point of contact for external relations, particularly in matters of audit, taxation and insurance;<\/li>\n
  • Ensure cash management;<\/li>\n
  • Ensure the relationship with the management team and serve as a strategic business partner to support business objectives;<\/li>\n
  • Other related tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Profile sought: <\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Hold a BAC in accounting, finance or field of study relevant to the job;<\/li>\n
      • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience;<\/li>\n
      • Master the Office suite including advanced skills in Excel;<\/li>\n
      • Experience in a manufacturing environment (asset);<\/li>\n
      • Master's degree or accounting designation (asset).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Strong analytical sense and attention to detail;<\/li>\n
        • Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships;<\/li>\n
        • Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner;<\/li>\n

        • Sense of listening;<\/li>\n
        • Bilingualism both orally and in writing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Working conditions: <\/strong><\/p>\n

          • Full-time position (40 hours);<\/li>\n
          • Possibility of travel to the United States on a semi-annual basis;<\/li>\n
