Accounting Technician<\/strong><\/p>\n

The St-L\u00e9onard-d'Aston plant is currently looking for an Accounting Technician.<\/p>\n

The Accounting Technician works under the supervision of the Financial Controller.<\/p>\n

Main tasks:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Accounts receivable activities (including bank deposits, and collections)<\/li>\n
  • Accounts payable activities (including supplier invoicing, and taxes)<\/li>\n
  • Payroll processing and supporting activities<\/li>\n
  • Exhaustive bookkeeping activities (including accruals & prepaids)<\/li>\n
  • Assist the Financial Controller with period end close responsibilities<\/li>\n
  • Prepare ad-hoc requests to assist the Financial Controller with financial and variance analysis<\/li>\n
  • Monthly account reconciliations (including bank statements and intercompany transactions)<\/li>\n
  • Prepare reporting (such as daily sales performance and workforce headcount)<\/li>\n
  • Support the Financial Controller in interactions with and requests from external auditors<\/li>\n
  • Other related duties<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Profile sought: <\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • DEC in Accounting<\/li>\n
    • Minimum of 2 years experience (background in manufacturing industry, preferred)<\/li>\n
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of Acomba, preferred<\/li>\n
    • Bilingual (French and English, both spoken and written) preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
